The new 25 metre pool, changing rooms and children’s pools are open now at the Marlborough Aquatic Centre.
The children's pool has a shallow corner suitable for very little ones to paddle while the new 'river' play pool can generate moving water to create currents.
Demolition of the older part of the complex is now underway and the second stage, including outdoor pool and a hydrotherapy/spa pool, is expected to be ready for this summer.
