The best Polish and world triathletes (including medalists of the European and world championships), as well as Polish Junior Championships – you'll get it all on 25th and 26th of July at Challenge Poznan.

The triathlon weekend at Challenge Poznan will start with the sprint-distance Polish Junior Championships on Saturday. Juniors will start the race with 750 m of swimming in the Malta Lake, then they will complete 20 km of cycling route and will finish with a 5km run around the Malta Lake. Senior athletes will compete on the same distance, after juniors. Among them is Chris McCormack (multiple world champion), returning from last year. Also taking place is the Olympic-distance competition (1500m/40km/10km), during which world's leading triathletes will race, headed by once again by Chris McCormack, competing for the second time that day.

Sunday will be an historic day for Polish triathlon. World's leading triathletes will start in the half distance Challenge Poznan. Over 40 pro athletes have registered, including Jodie Swallow (representing Great Britain, double world champion), James Cunnama (representing South Africa, multiple winner of prestigious competitions all around the world), Bart Aernouts (representing Belgium, multiple medalist of European triathlon and duathlon championships) and Allan Steen Olesen (representing Denmark, multiple champion of Denmark, European leading triathlete). Polish competitors want to show their best side in comparison to the world leaders. The Polish fans have high hopes for the competitors of Enea Tri Tour Team – Ewa Bugdoł and Kacper Adam, who often showed their capabilities in the international area.

"My main goal is to win the world's champion title, so I have to raise the bar higher and higher. I will have a possibility to race with the best triathletes and I'm very happy for it. Strong competitors give me additional energy and that helps me reach the heights of my abilities," said Kacper Adam, Polish half distance champion.

Approximately 4000 competitors from 34 countries will start during the entire Enea Challenge Poznan. In addition to all the sporting action, many attractions have been created for competitors, their families and residents of Poznań, including special fan zone ENERGIA+ Active life, breakfast market or EXPO zone.
